Mechanica
These terms govern your use of the Mechanica mobile application on iOS and Android and of this marketing website. By downloading the app or using the site, you agree to these terms.
The service
Mechanica helps vehicle owners keep service history, expenses, and reminders, and helps workshops manage jobs, vehicles in the bay, catalogues, and customers. This website is informational only. It is not a web version of the app and does not provide login, booking, or payments.
Accounts
You must provide a valid mobile number. Access is granted through a one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account. Register as an owner or as a workshop only if that describes you. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
Acceptable use
- Do not impersonate another person or workshop.
- Do not enter vehicle, job, or customer data you are not authorised to handle.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows.
- Do not use Mechanica to send spam or unlawful content.
Your content
You keep rights to the vehicle, job, and workshop information you submit. You grant us a licence to host and display that information as needed to operate the app (for example, showing a public workshop profile to nearby owners, or keeping service history with a transferred vehicle).
Workshops and owners
Mechanica does not employ workshops, guarantee repair quality, set prices, or mediate disputes between owners and shops. Nearby garage listings are informational. Any work done at a workshop is between you and that business.
Availability
We aim to keep the app available but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change. We may require an update before you continue using the app.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is”. Service reminders and expense totals depend on data you and workshops enter; they are not a substitute for manufacturer schedules or professional advice. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for repairs performed by third parties.
App Stores
Downloads are also subject to Apple’s App Store and Google Play terms. Those stores are not parties to this agreement between you and Mechanica.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be noted by the “Last updated” date on this page.
